My name is Cristi and I like to put paint on stuff :)
I have been an artist in one capacity or another for as long as I can remember. Like many others, art for me is an outlet and an escape, a way to spark joy in a sometimes difficult world.
I primarily work in the medium of paint pouring and abstract fluid art. I love that no two pieces are alike, and you can use the same colors, the same layering order, the same technique and get vastly different results on any given canvas. I find peace in that.
I also dabble in jewelry, keychains, magnets, and various other fun little things, and I enjoy hand lettering and calligraphy work.
I name all of my paintings after songs. Music has always been a huge part of my life and sparks inspiration for me. I may have been listening to that song while painting that canvas. The finished result could have sparked a memory that tied to a song. The outcome could've resembled a word in the song title.. either way, I hope you will check out the song associated with the piece you choose, and maybe it'll spark something in you too.
